SBM-XXX_SAFT, SAFT Nife Ni-Cd Block Battery used for installations requiring reliable back-up, safe motor starting and energy storage. Long life, low maintenance and robust construction. The nickel-cadmium plates are completely reliable, with no risk of thermal instability or sudden death. Operating temperature: -20 °C to + 50 °C, but can tolerate extremes of -50 °C to + 70 °C for short periods. With periodic checks, the battery block will provide up to more than 20 years of reliable service.
- SAFT SBL, SBLE has thicker plates and is typically used for power backup and energy storage applications. A reliable source of power for long periods of discharge.
- SAFT SBM is designed for applications where batteries are typically required to support electrical loads from 30 minutes to 3 hours and is typically used for backup applications, UPS, Uninterruptible Power Supply
- SAFT SBH uses very thin plates and is designed for start-up and backup applications where relatively high current is required for short periods. Typically less than 30 minutes duration.
