You can connect up to 5 batteries in parallel and up to 4 x 12V or 2 x 24V batteries in series

Victron Energy s Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4 or LFP) SMART series batteries have built-in cell balancing and monitoring. Up to five batteries can be connected in parallel and up to four 12V or two 24V batteries in series, so that a 48V and 1500 Ah maximum battery bank can be assembled. Cell balancing/monitoring cables can be cascaded and must be connected to a Battery Management System (BMS).
Bluetooth app available, to monitor battery voltage and temperature
For proper and safe operation of the battery, you must use one of these Victron Energy BMS:
- BMS VE.Bus: recommended for inverter/charger systems.
- small BMS: recommended for use in small systems.
- Battery Management System BMS 12/200: recommended for use in automotive and marine systems with DC loads and alternators.
- Smart BMS CL 12/100: recommended for use in automotive and marine systems with DC loads and alternators.
