The STA range is designed to be used in very demanding applications where cycles and depth of discharge must not be compromised.
Main applications:
- Stand alone renewable energy islands both wind and photovoltaic and other types.
- High energy storage systems for reliable power supply.
- Energy, security, signalling systems.
- Telecommunications, airports, stations.
Also designed for use in extreme temperature conditions, guaranteeing a life of more than 1600 cycles with 80% DOD, being equipped with large diameter tubular plates and special active material formulations. The innovative polar outlet provides high reliability against electrolyte leakage and remarkable durability.

- Tubular Pb/Sb (+) plate with low antimony content
- Grid (-) plate with cage structure
- Sleeve separators with high porosity and low electrical resistance
- Intercell connections in leaded copper
